DTN News - MALAYSIA AIRLINES FLIGHT MH17: Vladimir Putin's Daughter Flees £2million Dutch Penthouse Flat As Fury Grows Over MH17 Tragedy

DTN News - MALAYSIA AIRLINES FLIGHT MH17:  Vladimir Putin's Daughter Flees £2million Dutch Penthouse Flat As Fury Grows Over MH17 Tragedy
(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - July 25, 2014: The Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s daughter Maria, 29, and boyfriend Jorrit Faasen have gone into hiding as anger mounts in the Netherlands.

Maria Putin lived just 20 miles from the airport where the doomed jet departed from.

News that the Russian president's daughter was living among a nation of people still fuming over Russia’s role in the downing of Flight MH17 was only going to spark more outrage.

And once it became known the 29-year-old had a £2million apartment not far from the Dutch airport where the doomed jet left on its final, tragic journey, the angry protests quickly started.

DTN News - MIDDLE EAST HOT SPOT: Israel Pounds Gaza Despite International Peace Efforts

(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - July 22, 2014: Israel pounded targets across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, saying no ceasefire was near as top U.S. and United Nations diplomats pursued talks on halting the fighting that has claimed more than 600 lives.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry held discussions in neighbouring Egypt, while U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv and planned to see the Palestinian prime minister in the occupied West Bank on Wednesday.

However, there was no let-up in the fighting around Gaza, with plumes of black smoke spiralling into the sky, and Israeli shells raining down on the coastal Palestinian enclave.

DTN News - MIDDLE EAST HOT SPOT: Israel Resumes Attacks On Gaza

DTN News - MIDDLE EAST HOT SPOT:  Israel Resumes Attacks On Gaza

(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - July 19, 2014: Israel resumed its air strikes in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday a day after holding its fire in deference to an Egyptian-proposed cease-fire deal that failed to get Hamas militants to halt rocket attacks.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the ground offensive in a bid to halt rockets being fired at Israel. The ground operation will include infantry, artillery and armored corps, along with aerial and naval support.

Hamas: Israel will pay a heavy price for its ground operation. Israel and Palestine have been fighting an intense cross border war for the past 10 days as other nations fail to help them come to a truce. 240 people have been killed in Gaza - including seven children on Thursday - and 1,800 have been injured; one person has died in Israel

Israel had called up 48,000 reserve soldiers. Later on Thursday the Cabinet authorized the military to call up 18,000 more.
