DTN News: U.S. DoD Awarded Contract To Rockwell Collins For Upgarding And Maintenance of Pakistani Air Force (PAF) C-130 fleet 

(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - January 19, 2016: Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been awarded a $30,727,886 undefinitized contract action for the Pakistani Air Force (PAF) C-130 fleet. Contractor will design, manufacture, integrate, train, provide technical support during installation, and deliver 11 C-130E model kits and five C-130B integrated avionics suites and kits. 

Additionally, Rockwell Collins shall develop, validate, and deliver consolidated B/E flight manual and associated checklists, and maintenance supplements required to operate, maintain, and sustain the PAF C-130 fleet. 

Work will be performed at Nur Khan Base, Islamabad, Pakistan, and is expected to be complete by Dec. 31, 2020. 

This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. This contract is 100 percent foreign military sales to the country of Pakistan. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8553-16-C-0005).

DTN News - DEFENSE NEWS: U.S. DoD Awarded Rockwell-Collins Inc., Contract For Repair of Navigational And Communication Components of U.S. Navy Various Aircrafts And Helicopters

(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - October 12, 2012: Rockwell-Collins Inc., Government Systems Division, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $17,172,085 requirements contract for the repair of navigational and communication components for the E2C, EA-6B, F/A-18, P-3, H-1, H-46, H45-D aircraft, and the H53 and H60 helicopters.  

Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (80 percent) and Atlanta, Ga., (20 percent), and work is expected to be completed by October 2017.  

The applicable Navy Working Capital Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal 2013.  

This contract was not a full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement.   

Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00383-13-D-048G).

DTN News - DEFENSE NEWS: U.S. DoD Awarded Contract To Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids,  For Modification On MH-60s  Helicopters

(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - March 20, 2012: Rockwell Collins, Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $6,505,448 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-09-C-0069) to exercise an option to provide AN/ARC-210(V) electronic radio and ancillary equipment for the MH-60 aircraft.  

The modification provides for the following quantities:  48 RT-1990(C)/ARC receiver-transmitters for MH-60R and 28 RT-1990(C)/ARC receiver-transmitters for MH-60S.  The work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed in September 2013.  

Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
