General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Marion, Ill., was awarded a $32,502,374 firm-fixed-price contract March 4, 2011. The award will provide for the procurement of 1,224,641 30mm PGU-13B/B High Explosive Incendiary Remanufacture Cartridges and 30mm PGU-13D/B HEI Cartridges. Work will be performed in Marion, Ill., with an estimated completion date of July 21, 2012. The bid was restricted to the Industrial Base with two bids received.
