DTN News - LIBYA DEFENSE NEWS: Two Libyan Air Force Mirage Fighter Jet Return To Libya From Malta

(NSI News Source Info) TORONTO, Canada - February 23, 2012: Libyan Air Force pilot Colonel Ali Al-Rabti taxis his Mirage F1 fighter jet out onto the runway before taking off from Malta International Airport, outside Valletta February 22, 2012.

The return of the two Libyan Air Force Mirage F1 jets to Libya from Malta took place Wednesday morning after being postponed by one day due to bad weather conditions in both countries.

The jets had been scheduled to fly off on February 21, on the anniversary of their unexpected arrival after Al-Rabti and al-Salheen refused to bomb fellow Libyans outside Benghazi, according to local media.
