A Pakistani human rights activist holds a placard during an International Women's Day rally in Karachi. Indian activists have marked International Women's Day by protesting over a spate of violent attacks launched on women by religious extremists in the name of 'moral policing.'

    i seriously think it could be celebrated by showing a little affection to the women around us...i came thru a banner on facebook it was by telenor and it enabled the users to send msgs to their beloved women on women's day....its the thought which counts....n it was a great way to express ourselves thru telenor...things that we cant say or our hesitate to say....
