So far, the war has cost America 444 billion USD, while according to Brown University in the US, a total of 33,877 people -- including foreign and Afghan troops, civilians and insurgents -- have died in the conflict. There are currently around 130,000 NATO-led forces in Afghanistan, 100,000 of them from the US.
