Canadian soldiers from the NATO-led coalition played indoor hockey in the Forward Operating Base of Zhari district in Kandahar Province, southern Afghanistan. Without an ice arena, the soldiers make due with a rubber ball and running shoes on a concrete floor to get a taste of the sport far from home.
