DTN News: Iran TODAY November 18, 2010 - Iran Successfully Test-Fires Advanced Air Defense System....NSI News Source Info # 1226(NSI News Source Info) TEHRAN, Iran - November 18, 2010: A senior Iranian commander said Thursday that Iran successfully test-fired indigenous advanced air defense system dubbed "Mersad" which was launched by a drone aircraft, the semi-official ISNA news agency reported.
"Mersad medium-range air defense system was successfully test- fired in one of the rifle ranges of the country's air defense," the spokesman of the drill Brigadier General Hamid Arjangi was quoted as saying.
