(NSI News Source Info) BLOOMFIELD, Conn. - December 7, 2010: Kaman Corporation (NASDAQ-GS:KAMN) announced today that its Aerospace segment has been awarded a commercial sale purchase order for in the amount of $19 million for an undisclosed customer. Delivery of these fuzes is anticipated to occur in 2011.
“With this order and the order announced last week, the backlog for the JPF, one of our largest programs, has grown to $139 million and extends into 2012. Year to date orders from the U.S. Air Force and foreign customers total $126 million demonstrating the importance of the JPF’s high reliability and operational flexibility that is critical to the U.S. and allied militaries around the world,” commented Gregory Steiner, President of the Kaman Aerospace Group.
