Quick wash, dry with cloth and cut to desired bite size pieces or leave whole.
In a non stick pan heat olive oil, if you have whole zeera - you can add or not and fry okra can also cover for few minutes then remove cover as well saute more. The oil just enough to saute you can always add more oil then slice the onions a bit thick as well as fresh ginger sliced if so desired. Saute a few minutes more.
Add salt a few drops of lemon juice (optional turmeric powder the yellow colour called haldi in Hindi).
Red ground pepper, dry coriander powder - if you have it and zeera powder. These ground spices add only after your okra is cooked and turn the heat off, so the spices do not burn. Since I do not know the quantity go by your taste.
Add some sliced tomatoes and green chillies that is optional and your choice, I prefer mine a bit crisp. Nothing like home grown vegetable the freshness will add to the taste
