The Town of Markham has approached her to set another centre based on her unique successful Senior Centre.
Yesterday August 26 2012, Bala Kumar was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, presented by Dr. Helena Jeczek, MPP. Oakridges Markham at the Memorial Park in Stoufville. The occasion was superb with large selective crowd followed by barbecue and excellent entertainment from various multi cultures based in the beautiful land of Canada.
