Members of the U.S. Marine Corps Fleet Antiterrorism Security Team Pacific (FASTPAC) take part in a U.S. naval base defence drill in Jinhae, about 410 km (250 miles) southeast of Seoul, March 9, 2009. The drill was part of the annual Key Resolve/Foal Eagle military exercises by the U.S. and South Korea, which began on Monday and will run until March 20 across the South. North Korea said it had put its armed forces on full combat readiness in response to the exercises, heightening tensions on the Korean peninsula.
